Um, the Four Seasons is "the luxury hotel to be at " on Lanai because it's virtually the ONLY hotel on Lanai. Lanai is 98% owned by Larry Ellison, CEO of Oracle. Virtually all activities are controlled by or take place at the hotel.

There are only about 3,000 people on the island; almost no shops or stores. It's definitely isolated. That may be exactly what you're looking for, but just know that.
