Well I purposefully ticketed main cabin and sat in premium plus ewr-lax-ewr this past Wednesday night into Thursday.
I am surprised to say that I think I can fly PP comfortably if my global upgrades do not clear, or I'm not purchasing Polaris.
I am still trying to figure out how to lower the arm rests if you sit in the C,D,F, or J seats, while the window seat armrests do not go down - period.
Also, now that the seat map is posted, and seeing there are two Polaris lavatories in the front of the aircraft, are the two lavatories in front of 20A/20C and 20J/20L reserved for premium plus? My EWR-LAX segment, the flight attendants were stern about enforcing these two lavatories for Polaris cabin, while the flight attendants on my LAX-EWR were more relaxed and admitted they themselves were not sure so they allowed passengers seated in premium plus to use them. FWIW, on DL, there are two lavatories dedicated for premium select so UA should follow suit.
Very interesting to hear the comments from passengers who did not realize there were in a premium plus seat as most of the commentary was "oooooh, new business class?", or "oooooh, I got upgraded to business class!".
I love the new entertainment sets.
I thought the recline of the seats was extremely sufficient.
The legrest does not work well for me - I am 5ft 11in tall.
