If walking distance to BTS is not an issue (10 minutes or less), then the Marquis or JWM are your better choices due to vast lounges, pool, and availability of sauna and steam rooms. Marquis gave us comped late-late checkout when we needed it 2 years ago.

Have had a comped 8 PM late checkout at the SGS but that was years ago. They moved us from our suite around 4 PM to a deluxe king for the late checkout period.
