HKG and melatonin

Do LAX-HKG at least once a year, started back when Kai Tak was the
arrival airport. BTW, you'll *know* you've arrived at a world class airport when you land at Check Lap Kok.
ALWAYS been upstairs, in Heaven, am deliriously happy to read, eat, snooze as the mood takes me. Equally happy to take a looooong bedrest on evening arrival.
Have had success with melatonin in the past but haven't felt the need for it on westward flights. Last I read, (1) it's hard to know which dosage works, and (2) the purity/potency of uncontrolled substances is unknown. And I think the active compund has a fairly short shelf-life.
I'm not a medical doctor ("though I play one on TV" ) and expressly do NOT recommend you take melatonin. But if you do experiment, you might start as far ahead of your departure as possible, with minimum doses, increasing if/as needed. Doing a little online research, ala google, beforehand will give you some perspective.
$150, please, and make an apointment to see me in two weeks.
