We stayed at FS Surfside & Palm Beach back in Nov for Thanksgiving. We had very different experiences between these two FS.

Surfside was super accommodating, and dog was allowed on the beach no problem. We can also sit outside of Le Sirenuse with our pup.

Palm Beach however, insisted that the dog needs to be in carrier on hotel ground by the pool and on the beach. They told us that the beach is not a dog beach so dogs are not allowed there but since FSPB has private beach and they allow dogs to be on FS part of the beach as long as the dog is in a carrier. However I've also seen locals running around with their dog on the beach.
FSPB also doesn't allow us to dine in their dining room, not even on the patio, our pup in the carrier. It was a bit frustrating because the hotel allows dogs but dogs pretty much need to stay in the room.

I personally prefer FSPB, but if i'm traveling to FL again with my pup, I most likely will stay at Surfside.
