how to deal with UA 895 ORD-HKG (it's a long flight)

I'm doing ORD-HKG next week and am wondering if you guys have any tips on how to best pass the time. We'll be in C (upper deck - woohoo!).

What concerns me the most is the timing with jetlag and such. We leave around noon and get there around 6pm. So if we can fall asleep that night after a nice dinner in Hong Kong (never been!) I think we'd be set. Having said that, however, 14-15 hours is a long time not to sleep on a plane. I need to fill the time somehow.

So what would you guys recommend? Should I try to just sleep as much as possible? I'm bringing my laptop and will buy an Empower adapter and some DVDs. I'll also get a headphone splitter so my girlfriend and I can both watch the movies together. Any other suggestions?

Thanks!
