I would suggest that the gin acts as a different kind of separation. While separation of CW - Y is distinctly physical the gin acts as a separation of emotions. Imagine combining the two elements and the fantasies that could follow! I cant help but hope the OP was posting his question with the unconscious desire for a suggestion like this to be made.
