I can’t remember exact prices, but the buffet lunch/dinner were reasonable and extensive with lots of excellent local and international options [the chef is also frequently out and about introducing himself to guests and making sure they’re happy, and expressed a genuine willingness to accommodate special requests]. Dinner at Big Fish is expensive, but made for a nice splurge as the ambience was nice and the food excellent. If you fancy a bit of seafood, go for a walk down the beach to one of the little setups and pick your fancy; my friend and I found one spot where we had an entire, massive grilled tuna and some squid for 2000 rupees [about 11 USD] - about the price of a starter at Big Fish.
I’d also recommend the fish bun from Mirissa Baking Company, the hotel’s little bakery off the entrance; it’s a delicious baked triangle of shredded tuna cooked in a fiery, spiced sauce and a steal at 250 rupees!
