Many of these flights show NO BClass revenue seats reserved. In years past this has never been a problem.

Not sure it's deliberate though.
A workaround is to check
https://www.cablepick.net/united to get the current UA FLIGHT STATUS with display of seats booked, and the seat map. But it's an annoying additional step to the search for likely GPU success.

There is NOTHING. Not a single segment available.
NOT ideal, but PEK-EWR-EZE with GPU on UA, with a separate CA ticket ICN-PEK (~$150 in E) might work. Since it's PEK you might want to give yourself extra time though....or an extra day.
