The butler service took 1/2 hour when I was there for simple requests like coffee or an iron. I don't see why anyone would be willing to wait 1/2 hour for a cup of coffee.
For what it is worth I have seen your posts on the St. Regis SF, and agree with you there. There is no comparison between the service I've experienced at the two properties; SF beats NY by a very wide margin in my experience.
