King sized. No upgrade.

How are the rooms?
Small but lovely. Well-appointed typical of the Kimpton brand. Great bed, quiet room with good sound-insulation as you couldn't hear much from the outside. Could hear other guests through the hallways though, but that's to be expected as folks are excited by Times Square and NYC.

How was your complimentary welcome amenity?
Didn't exist. They claimed as I booked at 8am that I wasn't eligible for a welcome amenity when I called at 10pm coming back from a work dinner asking about its status. The front desk manager said at 10pm she could send up a bottle of wine. I said no. A bottle of water and a card would've been nice instead of the $10 bottles of Fiji they had.

Did you raid the minibar? If so, what did you take?
A Kit Kat. And it was lovely.

Were you offered a Chef's Taste at Dinner, If so, what did you receive?
Not offered.

Did you use the free spa credit / did the hotel participate? If so, was it a good value?
Not offered.

What was good and what was bad?
The room was great, but at twice the price of a Holiday Inn Express two blocks away, this literally had no benefit to me. Oh--and they also charged a $25 amenity fee (plus tax), which they weren't supposed to do for Inner Circle members.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
