With the 78J now entering scheduled service it might be a good time to assemble information about the good & not-so-good seats on this new UA aircraft.

A couple of first impressions from the inaugurals this Monday:
J-cabin (new Polaris seats) overall feels very similar to the 77W / 772 seats. Row 5 window seats (5A & 5L) have only 1 window about 2 feet forward of the seat-back in upright position. I found the footwell to be wide enough for me (6' tall) as a side-sleeper. Inflight noise from engine, outside airflow was minimal in the J-cabin.

PP-cabin feature 2-3-2 configuration, with 19" seat width and leg-rests on all seats (unlike AA). The bulkhead row 20 appears to have most legroom.
