Complicated booking error - ANA policy on date changes.
Firstly, recently flew ANA c class (new style) NRT-BKK and was excellent, will be finishing my trip report soon enough. Will be sure to get some photos on teh way back too.
Anyway, I booked a Domestic flight with ANA from Tokyo-Osaka. The booking was made through Virgin Atlantic's flying club paid with flying club miles. At some point there seems to have been a mix up and the return date is 1 day earlier than expected. This is not the end of the world but its not perfect. Im in the middle of nowhere right now and dont want to fork our $10 a minute calling ANA's office in Bangkok to sort this out. I've only just noticed this by the way. Because this is a reward booking it probably has a weird booking class so do you guys reckon ANA will change the return date for me for free? I would assume there would be plenty of availibility since there is something like 20 flights per day between the 2 cities, most on 747s. Would it make any difference if I called them now or waited till a week before my flight when I will be back in Bangkok and able to go into the office there, or the ticket desk at the airport.
