HI all, my apologies if this is not the best place to post this. I had booked a Basic Economy fare for a quick weekend trip for personal reasons. I just learned that I will need to fly across the country on the same day I had planned my return flight. Since my return flight is in the late afternoon, there is not enough time to fly across the country that same day. My question relates to what to do about my return leg of my Basic Economy fare. I know changing or cancelling is not an option, so should I just not show up for the flight? Is there a better option? I don't want to leave the gate crew hanging, but I also don't want to incur any additional fees. Appreciate any help you can provide!
