Just a heads up, I am booked for a 6-night rewards stay in April at the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman. Looking into trip insurance, I called them to see what the cancellation fee amount was for cancelling within 45 days of arrival. I was stunned to hear it was $4,000! The initial reservation confirmation just notes there is a cancellation fee for < 45 days and didn't list the amount. I have no idea if trip insurance would cover this, but intend to find out.
