New to using GGU. Trying to upgrade a friend that I convinced to fly Alaska non stop Dulles to SFO instead of his normal American Airlines. Will feel really bad if it doesn't clear haha. You basically have no chance here. If U (not F) space does open up it will immediately go to the elites on the wait list (barring the upgrade processor getting stuck, which admittedly is not THAT rare). By now, everyone (including MVP) is on the waitlist.
