When I first applied for GE in 2014 I could not find any place to do the interview so just settled on getting TSA precheck and later got GE. Had hoped to renew GE before my TSA precheck expires next month but who knows if that will happen.

Since you started renewing your Global Entry prior to expiration date, you have up to six months from expiration date to complete the process. You are very likely to receive TSA PreCheck on 1 March 2019.
