When I first applied for GE in 2014 I could not find any place to do the interview so just settled on getting TSA precheck and later got GE. Had hoped to renew GE before my TSA precheck expires next month but who knows if that will happen.
Your GE enables you as a trusted traveler to have PreCheck. Make sure your airline profiles use your GE number. Why would you care to renew the PreCheck when GE serves the same function for TSA purposes?
