I did fly with Turkish last year but I don't see the miles in my account there from those flights and the website is a nightmare. I don't think I can collected them from United if I wasn't signed up at the time with them. Ideally if I can get status with this then I would want to get it matched to DL since that's my usual.

If you already have TK's Elite, 1 single trip like this would renew your Elite (*G) since it reaches 25K miles, and 70% (29K out of 40K) if you're Elite Plus. Given current M&S account issue(s) - a long story, I'm testing a few small transactions before I put this onto TK.
