We are currently here. They gave us a great suite upgrade as a plat premier on a cash rate of $80 per night. The in house travel agency gave us a good guide for the Taj Mahal, albeit at a high cost the above posts note.

However, we both have food poisoning from what we believe is the hotel buffet. The warning signs were there, food was lukewarm, so our fault for plowing ahead. A la carte food has been fine.

I would stay here again given the great accommodations, plat treatment and price, but I recommend to exercise caution with the buffet in the main restaurant.
