AA.com prices this out in business class at US$3,062.63 until the very last step. After I've entered my credit card info and press the purchase button, I get a message that reads, "Your trip has changed based on the passenger information you entered," and the price increases by 246% to US$10,558.63. I've encountered other glitches, such as phantom inventory, but do not recall ever receiving this particular message, or receiving it at the final step in the process (with phantom inventory, the error message will appear by the time you try to confirm an itinerary but before you enter passenger information and pay).
Has anyone seen this before? Any way to secure the lower price?
