If you must fly *A there is no choice. But personally I wouldnt bother. Do the inter-Australia flights on QF (Qantas) or DJ (Virgin Blue) - fairly cheap fares on sales. If entry and exit point for Australia are different then treat as land segment, or better yet leave from same place for no use of miles in the RTW.
