Hands down VA - really enjoyed my premium eco experience with them when I flew with them on SYD-LAX last month. Really great hard product and service - FAs cleaned the lavs multiple times during the flight (really great). PE hard product is already pretty good - the seat has 41" of pitch and generous recline and there's a mini bar as well.

You can bid for an upgrade or upgrade at checkin if you wish. The upgrade offer for premium economy to business was $1599 AUD at checkin, regardless of fare class. I passed and don't regret it. In fact, I regret burning SkyPesos on a D1 upgrade for my outbound leg w/ DL (LAX-SYD) and wouldn't do it again until DL deploys a refurb'd aircraft.
