I might be facing the same question soon and pretty similar situation so appreciate the thread.

I am also delta plat. My trip will be Orlando to Perth probably in June. We are considering opening an office there and I do all the IT work for new offices. For me it will be my first international flight. Will be an interesting first if the office gets approved. From reading the delta 777 D1 suites should go online for that flight in April. I am budgeting two weeks given the distance and time change so not rushed and make mistakes since currently all our IT support is in the Eastern timezone.
