Running into problems now with AE, AC and other *A carriers.
First it was not properly ticketed because someone forgot to charge the airport taxes on infant ticket
Now the tickets somehow are not tied to Mrs GHT PNR and some airline cannot get GHT Jr's ticket number pulled up.
Third..... we are having problems securing bassinet seats

Yes. Lap infant booking require due diligence!
Checklist that I can think of.
1) ensure all taxes and fees have been procesed.
2) ensure all pax have an 014 ticket. Infant needs their own 14 number.
3) obtain PNR numbers for all *A non--AC segments.
4) make sure the infant shows on all the *A booking systems (i.e. a big issue on Air China).
5) pay fees on *A partners if needed.
6) select seats on all segments.
