Everyone's own personal experience and opinion will be different, and that is a good thing. I agree Aer Lingus are better than Ryanair, but in my estimate (which is personal to me) not by much.
If prices and routes and times were identical I would choose BA over Aer Lingus everytime, and in fact would pay a a bit more for BA.
For me Aer Lingus are probably on a par with Easyjet.
Again many people would disagree but I don't like row 1 in CE or otherwise. Certainly if you like row 1, Ryanair isn't the airline to choose as from what I recall there is no bulkhead.
