All of those are 4 star hotels. At a push, you could argue the cheapest five star hotel in Tokyo would be something like IC The Strings (debatable if it's really five star, definitely don't consider the other IC to be a five star hotel overall as nice as the lounge is) or Capitol Hotel Tokyu which seem to bottom out around USD 250 per night these days. Proper five star hotels of similar standard to the good international chain five star hotels in Bangkok are more like 300-350 USD+ in my experience.
Hong Kong I agree for 250 USD outside of peak season you can probably get The Langham or Kowloon SL which are difficult to argue aren't five star hotels, possibly something better.
