Where are you planning to spend the time yourself? The Cathay Pacific lounge is not open 24 hours a day as far as I know so your bags wouldn't be "safe" there. You could just bite the bullet,, take your luggage (so no charge for storage), get a hotel room, have a good night's sleep and be awake and refreshed to enjoy your nice flight onwards.
