Every other guest I've seen appears to be Chinese. Lots of families. Seemingly quite a lot of day trippers just using the restaurant in order to visit the place. A lot of security at the road entrance, too. Seems like there must be a lot of local buzz about the hotel, so the demographic is perhaps not what it will be in future. Explains why the club lounge is empty.
The pool looks decent. Haven't been in, but haven't seen anyone in either. People too busy gawking with cameras to go swimming. Gym is hotel average. Bars and restaurants certainly look very nice indeed, but I haven't tried them.
There are a few rough edges, but that's expected for such a new place. A couple of glitches with fixtures and fittings in the room. Room electronics have a tablet and voice control system, but it's only in Chinese.
Not sure what there is to do in the area. There's a botanic garden on the map, but really I think you'd come here just to see the hotel.
