Your experience is disappointing, but not surprising. This property is very stingy with room upgrades. I've stayed here 8-10 times and recall a room upgrade twice, including once when I uncharacteristically pushed for an upgrade after repeatedly not receiving one. (Junior and regular suites were bookable online.)
