I don’t know, I may be the outlier but I just don’t get the feel for San Telmo.. It’s nice to visit for a day but I don’t really want to be in that part of the town for any extended period of time. I prefer a more residential feeling and you really don’t get that great of an interaction with the local folk. I like the location. In fact, I'm here, now. That said, I'm not a big fan of the biggest draw, the Sunday street fair, if for no other reason than total claustrophobia and frustration walking down the street. Some of my favo(u)rite restaurants are here, or walking distance, and friends live here. While it may not be as pretty or clean as the SEOT*, it is certainly more interesting.
