Actually, that should read, "i.e., if I'd known how rich you were, I wouldn't have lied to you."
In a service industry, that sort of thing cannot be tolerated. I'd have brought it up directly to management, and if they wouldn't act, to the chain (if any). In any event, I doubt I'd have ever darkened their door again if the situation wasn't rectified.
