Flying IAD-HKG-MEL RT in Class I which covers +25,000 miles flown. Currently AA Gold and AS MVP via status match but am torn on where to credit the miles. Planning a large RTW trip with my family starting June 2019 for 12 months.

Flight will net on AA:
38,230 EQMs, $6371 EQDs, and 42,054 redeemable miles (bottom line - I'll be 12k EQMs short of Platinum/OW Sapphire)

Flight will net on AS:
70,089 redeemable miles (including 25,487 elite miles - enough for MVP)

I will likely have a small to moderate amount of domestic east coast travel this year (likely on AA).

Looking for advice on where to credit and the value of AS MVP. Thanks.
