In December my suggestions would include, not in any order:

* IST, for a cultural experience, and reasonable miles.
* ATH, for the same reason, and so-so miles.
* Anywhere in Southern Spain (Seville, Cordoba, Granada, ...), for the time of your life, period. Good enough to make you forget about unimportant things like miles.
