Essential Sleeve is supposedly the latest model carryon from Rimowa. There are three bags, all black polycarbonate and all have an outside "pouch." I'm thinking of buying the Cabin model which is the middle size of the three. (The others are Cabin S and Cabin Plus.) I would probably buy it in Europe.

I like the ability to have a pouch for easy access to my iPad, keys, etc. I don't like that the bag has a zipper. (I'm thinking that this is of less concern with a carryon but I may be wrong.) I also don't like that Rimowa does not provide a padlock for the pouch when you're paying $800 for the bag.

My other Rimowa bags are Topas aluminum.

How do you feel about this bag? Buy? Don't buy?
