Minimal spend beyond the minimum for the sign-up bonus, though I did take advantage of a few Amex Offers on the card this year.
Just past the 1 year anniversary (renewal fee posted on December statement).

When I called to cancel, I initially wasn't offered anything until I asked about offers on the account. I was offered the following:

• $50 credit for $1000 in spend
• 7500 miles for $1500 in spend

I took the miles since 6 miles/dollar will ~ cover the fee and (I hope) I will make use of the bag check and boarding benefits at least once. I figure I need to get at least $50 of additional value out of it, so I probably should have cancelled given how infrequently I check bags.
