The other option I might consider would be trying to grab an entire middle block at the back (eg book the three seats 61 DEG). If you are lucky, nobody will want to take the middle seat (F), and you'll have the whole block of 4 to yourselves. If somebody does end up in F, offer to trade them the aisle seat G so all of you can sit together. However, you don't get a window seat this way, and AC seems to be pretty good at filling its planes as of late, so I'm not sure how likely this is to work out. (You could also book one of your littles in F, but I presume this is cost-prohibitive.)

Whatever you choose, I'd be interested to hear how it works out! Flying with small kids on an overnight flight is tough; I hope it turns out as well as possible for all of you.
The thing about row 62 when we booked our seats yesterday with a representative she mentioned that 62 was X'd off for flight attendants. When I go to view seat online for our particular flight it seems that our chosen seats are now X'd off but all the seats behind us are X'd off as well. I might call again to confirm that it is for attendants and it isn't some hockey team that has booked all of those seats! That would be nuts! However, the flight attendants could be loud too when they take their breaks back there :S

We need to sit in different "blocks" because we will each have a Lap Infant. The 5 of us can't sit together because there is only 1 extra air mask. So the other Adult and Lap Infant have to sit in a different "block".

We are avoiding Bulkhead because I hate the armrest trays and the fixed armrests. However, putting the kids on the ground to sleep sounds good too! I might inquire of what it would cost to upgrade to PE because we got to pick our seats at no cost due to having an 8 year old. Perhaps the upgrade is discounted!? :P

This'll be an interesting trip.
