We opted for these in hopes for a little extra space for all of us even though it'll take forever to get off the plane at the end. We're also flying overnight. We were told that row 62 was reserved for the flight attendants.
What are your thoughts?
Personally I'm not a huge fan of being across the aisle from my partner & kids, but if you both want the extra space of an aisle seat this might work out well for you. Plus you have a window seat for Ms8 to boot. You could also book something like 61A, 61B, 62B if front & back works better than across the aisle.
The other option I might consider would be trying to grab an entire middle block at the back (eg book the three seats 61 DEG). If you are lucky, nobody will want to take the middle seat (F), and you'll have the whole block of 4 to yourselves. If somebody does end up in F, offer to trade them the aisle seat G so all of you can sit together. However, you don't get a window seat this way, and AC seems to be pretty good at filling its planes as of late, so I'm not sure how likely this is to work out. (You could also book one of your littles in F, but I presume this is cost-prohibitive.)
Whatever you choose, I'd be interested to hear how it works out! Flying with small kids on an overnight flight is tough; I hope it turns out as well as possible for all of you.
