Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
Yes

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked and received standard (on a discounted rate)

How are the rooms?
- Comfortable yet tired, there's a burnt hole at the carpet likely caused by cigarette, fortunately we and the hotel didn't care.
- Bedside socket and USB at desk
- Office chair is a bit flimsy

How is the exec. lounge?
N/A

What was good and what was bad?
Good:
- Gold elite recognition with canned drinks for all guests.
- Breakfast hall (Great Room) looks a lot better than TripAdvisor photos and the variety is decent as an HIX, with freshly made eggs and noodles.
- Very helpful reception; when I asked for 2 bottled water due to skipping housekeeping, they gave us whole stay's worth of water.
- Close to metro station and a local supermarket.
Meh:
- It didn't bother actually but the HIX entrance sign is so in need of maintenance:

while the majority of facilities are in good conditions, and everything is functional, you'd find things here and there that looks a bit old.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
Good price for its location, will return.
