Change in Second Guest on Certificate Stay?
From Dan's Deals forum on selling Marriott certs / free nights,
I booked an award night and then tried attempted to add on my buyer. I didn't see that option online so I called in. First rep. told me that because it's a certificate I can't add guest. 2nd rep. told me that they can add guest but if they arrive first it will be charged as a regular room, and reversed once I arrive. Is this a new policy? Is there someway around this?
Some posters there indicate new policy as of January 1. Any other data points on this??
