I've also noticed the inconsistencies between miles/points and grand totals. It normally takes a few days for everything to catch up!

On the free companion ticket offer : I got the blurb in the post this morning and I *think* it also included Club Europe flights and traveller (economy) flights, everything except fare class V, but I didn't see any reference to specific flights or routes. I only scanned it quickly though....I'll check tonight.
