Looking for some experiences on how far in advance award availability should be visible.

I'm trying to make a business class award booking on RAM through Etihad. The dates are for mid-April, so about 3.5 months out.
I've called Etihad a couple times and the representative checks and says there is no availability showing yet. They said I should call back in about 3 weeks and they should be able to see award availability at that time.

As the post above suggested, I tried to ask about making a full booking inquiry instead of a dummy booking and they said that's what they did and it says no availability.

I tried to use the RAM Safar Flyer site to check for availability, but that gives me a 'Bad Gateway' error message each time I check, even for different dates and cities than the ones I want.
