Just finished up a stay at this property and thought I'd bump this thread. Essentially, everything from Duke787's report holds true - great location, low rates, very good use of a free night certificate. Since it was the holidays, the neighborhood was desolate, which was absolutely perfect for getting great sleep at night - the Grand Place properties were in the midst of absolute chaos with the winter festival going on and you couldn't have paid me to stay at them.

They gave us the same room type as in the previous report - very large corner unit with a big dining table (agree with previous post on the fantastic utility of the in-room fridge and nearby Carrefours, ensuring a steady supply of snacks and world-class beers). Room was absolutely immaculate and housekeeping, front desk, and restaurant service were great.

One additional note on the location is that if you're up for about a 10 minute walk you can catch a train directly to/from the airport at Schuman station, which is nice since it is cheap and requires no transfers.

Oh, and to hopefully make some folks happy - they gave us breakfast! At check-in, the agent asked if I wanted points or a credit as my welcome benefit. I said the credit, to use towards breakfast, and she responded very matter-of-factly that breakfast was of course complimentary since I am a platinum member (wish this was the case everywhere!). This was on certs/points so definitely not a feature of the rate I booked. Each morning they had a nice selection of cold meats, cheeses, salads, and cereals as well as 4-5 hot items and some extremely tasty baked goods (definitely up to local standards).

Excellent stay; would come back any time.
