Just wondered if anyone could help/advise?

Partner and I are flying out to Colombo via Srilankan on 17 Jan on the SriLankan 504 and back again on the 27th on 503.

At the moment, when I go to bid it's saying a minimum bid each way, per person is around £750... Which when added to the cost of the economy ticket we bought = the total cost of a business class ticket anyway, so no saving.

Does the minimum bid often go down closer to the time?
