We got a 4wd had such a great time. Did encounter some crazy weather, but having the right car and experience in driving in snow and ice really helped. That wind... wow. It really can get crazy. We experienced rain, snow, sleet (like big pellets), sun, clouds, clear night sky, and everything else in between. We made good use of the weather websites as well. Thanks for all the advice! Iceland was lovely.
