I've been seated plenty of times near to pax with the issues you describe in Business. That one seat doesn't help much, and what if the pax in front of you or behind is stinking? The issue with the POS is they don't properly clean the flat flaps, which is why they tend to smell! Personal hygiene is ever more difficult with POS.
I remember my partner was near a pax on an Iberia flight with who took off his Uggs (JEEZZZ) and the stinky feet smell was unbearable. I deployed the Iberia mist from the Lav and was spraying it in the vicinity.
Another issue is that Helga's NEK seats struggle with POS and tend to "give way" whether reclined or not.
