I'm happy to tip well for good service in a restaurant but find the US style of tipping just about everyone one comes into contact with on any service basis stressful. I really don't want to have to remember whether and how much to tip dozens of times a day and would much rather staff were properly paid without tips and told not to solicit or expect them. Shame tipping is becoming ever more prevalent in societies it was not until recently.
Hear! Hear! Since when did anyone tip the Dentist or the Nurse at the Health Centre. Or whilst we are at it the Check In people when they get a UG?
