Just a follow-up ,
i got WhatsApp installed today using my Google Voice number ,
But it would not send an SMS to the GV number , and you have to wait 60 minutes before trying again.
It would call the GV number and leave a message

So that's how I got the sign up code just in case you have problems......

So next time I get some business cards printed I will put the WhatsApp , WeChat and Line ID ,
