You'll probably hear from Iberia before any action is taken - most likely some polite words encouraging you to earn Avios so that you can clear the overdraft.

The planned migration of both the BAEC and IB Plus programmes onto the Common Avios Platform is running behind schedule. Going by the timetable published in the 2017 IAG Investor Day Report, this should have been implemented before the end of 2018. However, when it does happen, the accumulated balances of your BAEC and IB Plus accounts will be combined into a single, unified Avios bank account so negative balances will be factored in.
