I agree with the others - why do you think it’s LOT’s fault and not UA?
BTW I have good experience with LOT and also with UA.
But sometimes things can go wrong with either of them ... and so in any case, I wouldn’t make an assessment about an airline on a basis of a single bad experience, especially when it’s unclear whose fault is that.
